Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or 'the Group'), the international Agri-Services Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Helen Kirkpatrick to the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Helen (62) has a wealth of experience as a Non-Executive Director across a range of industries, having served as a Board member in public, private and not for profit companies operating nationally and internationally over the past 20 years.  Her most recent prior Board memberships include as a Non-Executive Director at Kingspan Group plc, UTV Media/Wireless Group plc and agri-food business, Dale Farm Co-operative.  In her various roles, she has served as Chairman of both Audit and Remuneration Committees and held the position of senior independent director.  Helen currently sits on the Board of NTR plc and a number of technology development companies.

With a background in corporate finance and business advisory services, Helen has held a number of senior positions in global professional services firms, including Ernst & Young and Deloitte and as a corporate finance executive with Invest Northern Ireland, the economic development agency for Northern Ireland.  She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.  She has been awarded an MBE for services to the community in Northern Ireland.
