Credit rating update

Origin E nergy Lim i ted (Origin ) notes that Standard & Poor’s to d ay revised its long term senior u nsecured c redit ratin g for Origin f rom BBB (negative o u tlook) to B B B- (stable ) . Origin also notes that ea r lier this we e k, Moody’ s Investors Services r e affirmed it s credit rati n g as Baa2 ( n egative outlook).

Origin’ s current committed undrawn deb t facilities, w hich have no materia l maturities until December 2018 a n d Decem b er 2019, to g ether with operating c ash flow, p rovide the Company sufficie n t liquidity t o meet its A ustralia Pa c ific LNG f u nding com m itment and the require m ents of O r igin’s existing busine s s.

Origin E xecutive D irector Fin a nce & Str a tegy, Ms K a ren Mose s said, “Th e revision of Origin’ s credit rati n g to BBB- ( stable) is n ot expecte d to have a material i m pact on th e Company. Origin h as, and will continue to, conserv e cash flow , accelerat e cost redu c tions and en s ure capital expenditu r e is carefully focused o n projects that will e n hance cas h flow and ea r nings in th e near term.”
