Appointment of Mr. James Chen as CEO of Origin Agritech Limited

Effective March 1, 2018, Mr. James Chen, a current director of the company and the Chief Financial Officer of the company from 2014 to 2016, has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Dr. Han Gengchen, who has been acting as the CEO for the last several months, will continue to be the Chairman of the Board.
