Resignation of Director of Origin Agritech Limited

On September 1, 2017, Mr. David W. Bullock tendered his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of Origin Agritech Limited (“Company”). Mr. Bullock indicated that his resignation was due to the fact that his three-year term is coming to a close and that he has other work and personal commitments, which will not allow him to continue serving on the company’s Board.

The Board, upon receipt of the resignation, expressed its thanks for the contributions made to the Company and the Board during the three years of service that Mr. Bullock provided.
