MD & CEO SUCCESSION

As previously announced on 24 October 2011, Orica announces that Mr Ian Smith is appointed Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer with effect from today, Monday, 27 February 2012.

Mr Graeme Liebelt steps down as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer today and will remain an executive of the company to assist with transitional issues until 31 March 2012.
