AUROCH INCREASES PRESENCE IN SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BASE-METALS REGION

Highlights

• Auroch increases its tenement package in South Australia with 2 new Exploration Licence Applications (ELAs), one at the Arden Project and one at the Bonaventura Project

• All three new areas considered highly-prospective for SEDEX and structurally-hosted zinc, copper, gold and cobalt mineralisation

• EL Application at the Arden Project has already been granted ( EL6217 )

• New licences significantly expand project area by 55%

• Drilling continues at Arden and Bonaventura with assay results to be released to market as they become available

Auroch Minerals Limited ( Auroch or the Company ) is pleased to announce the Company has significantly increased its exploration tenure across its Arden and Bonaventura Projects in South Australia. The new areas are considered highly-prospective for base-metals and add momentum to the Company’s aggressive exploration programmes, with drilling already underway at both Arden and Bonaventura Projects[1] .

The Arden and Bonaventura Projects now encompass a total of 2,079km[2] within the world-class Adelaide Geosyncline, which underpins the Company’s strategy to consolidate land in the region to systematically and aggressively explore for high-grade base-metal deposits.

At the Arden Project, located near Port Augusta approximately 315km north of Adelaide, exploration licence EL 6217 was granted this month. It comprises 954km[2] and is dominated by Cambrian-aged lithological units considered highly-prospective for SEDEX (Sedimentary Exhalative) base-metals mineralisation. The area is contiguous with the existing Arden tenement EL 5821 and brings the total area of the Arden Project to 1,664km[2] (see Figures 1 and 2).

At the Bonaventura Project on Kangaroo Island, the new Exploration Licence Application (ELA) areas are contiguous with the existing tenement EL 5973 and lie to both the east and the west of the existing tenement (see Figure 1 and 3). The new areas consist of Cambrian-aged lithologies favourable for SEDEX base-metals mineralisation, and also cover the extensions of the Cygnet-Snelling Fault, a regional-scale fault that is the focus of many historic artisanal base-metals and gold mines. The application is for 181km[2] which would bring the total tenement package of the Bonaventura Project to 415km[2] .

Drilling at both the Arden and Bonaventura Projects is continuing. Inclement weather and difficult ground conditions have hampered progress to-date, but both are expected to improve as the programmes move forward. Results will be released as they are received.

ABOUT AUROCH MINERALS

Auroch Minerals Limited is an Australian base-metals exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:AOU) . Auroch is focused on its two South Australian projects Arden and Bonaventura, located in the Adelaide Geosyncline.

Located some 3.5 hours’ drive north from Adelaide, the Arden Project boasts a large relatively-unexplored area of 1,664km[2] highly-prospective for sedimentary-exhalative (SEDEX) mineralisation.
