ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Future Battery Minerals Ltd ( ASX: FBM ) ( FBM or the Company ) advises that, following the commencement of Mr. Nick Rathjen as Managing Director and CEO today, Mr. Mike Edwards has stepped down from his executive duties and assumes the role of Non-Executive Chairman.

Mr. Edwards has been instrumental in leading FBM through a significant restructuring and subsequent transition into a lithium focussed Company. The Kangaroo Hills and Nevada Lithium projects have the potential to be both world class deposits, and the sale of the Nepean Nickel Project in June 2023 for $10 million and subsequent capital raising activities have enabled the Company to continuously and aggressively undertake exploration activities during this period. Mr Edwards is a key part of the Company’s leadership and will continue to lead the Board in the role of Non-Executive Chairman, as the Company rapidly advances the Kangaroo Hills and Nevada lithium projects.

As previously announced, FBM has launched a process to assess the Board skills and expertise that will best support the Company in its planned activities. Following this assessment, it is anticipated that a further nonexecutive director(s) will be appointed to complement the existing Board composition.
