Following shareholder approval earlier today at the Company’s General Meeting, Australian-American Mining Corporation Limited advises that the key dates for the 1 for 5 share consolidation are as follows:

13 September 2011	Trading of post capital Consolidation securities on adeferred settlement basis commences
19 September 2011	Last day to register transfers on a pre-capitalConsolidation basis
20 September 2011	First day to register transfers on a post-capitalConsolidation basis
26 September 2011	Deferred settlement market endsLast day for Company to send notice to eachsecurity holder of pre and post capital Consolidationholdings
