Update on Merger of Monaro Mining NL and Uranium King Limited

The Scheme of Arrangement between Monaro Mining NL (“Monaro”) and Uranium King Limited (“UKL”) was scheduled for final court approval for 24 June 2008. However, UKL have advised Monaro that the court hearing has been adjourned until 11am on Thursday, 24 July 2008.

The Board of Monaro appreciates the inconvenience of this delay and has instituted proceedings to expedite the matter.
