Daniel Göring appointed Head of Communications at Orascom Development

Orascom Development strengthens corporate communications. Daniel Göring
will become Head of Corporate Communications and will start working in his
new function in mid-October 2012.

Altdorf/Cairo, 15 August 2012 - In his new function, Daniel Göring will be
responsible for all communication activities of Orascom Development Holding
AG (Orascom Development) including the tourism project Andermatt Swiss
Alps.

Daniel Göring has vast experience in communication matters. The 46 year-old
has been working in the communications department of the Swiss Federal
Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) since 2001 and has been its head since
2005. He was involved in complex and politically challenging projects in
Swiss civil aviation such as the grounding of Swissair or the negotiations
with Germany about a bilateral aviation treaty. Prior to that, Daniel
Göring worked for more than ten years as a journalist for Swiss daily
newspapers as well as for a Swiss news agency.
