Company Update

Oracle Power PLC (AIM: ORCP), an international project developer, notes the announcement this morning on the ASX by Riversgold Limited ("Riversgold"), the Company ' s partner in the Northern Zone Gold Project (the " Project " or " Northern Zone").

Riversgold requested a halt in trading of its securities on the ASX effective immediately, pending an announcement regarding a capital raising and a material contract for the Northern Zone. The trading halt will remain in place until not later than commencement of trading on Tuesday 30 September or until the release of the announcement referred to above.

The Company wishes to clarify that Riversgold and Oracle are in discussions regarding a material contract with a firm to progress operations at the Northern Zone and that any further announcement will be made in due course as appropriate.
