Result of AGM

Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK coal developer of a 1.4 billion tonne lignite resource located in the south-eastern desert of the Sindh Province, Pakistan, announces that it has today held its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 22 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London W1S 1JP.

The Directors of the Company confirm that all ordinary resolutions (one to six) were passed and that special resolution seven (requiring a 75 per cent majority) was not passed.

The Board will consider the implications of the vote on special resolution seven and revert to shareholders in due course.
