Mr James MacKenzie to resign as a director of Circadian

The Board of Directors of Circadian today announced that Mr James MacKenzie has provided notice that he will resign as a director of the board effective 31 July 2008. James is resigning after over 6 years service to the company having seen it through to its recent transition from a biotech incubator to a biologics drug development company.

Mr James MacKenzie said, “This is an appropriate time for me to leave the Circadian board with its new strategy being implemented and the recent additional international drug development skills and pharmaceutical experience that have been employed by the company, which include the appointment of Mr Carlo Montagner as a non-executive director and the establishment of the Product Development Review Group. It is an exciting time for Circadian and I wish the board and management every success in building a valuable, international biologics drug development company.”

Circadian chairman, Ms Dominique Fisher, said “On behalf of the board I thank James for his valuable contributions and commercial insights over the years as both a director of the board and chairman of its audit committee.”
