PRELIMINARY SALES REVENUE 2016 OF €460.9 MILLION, UP BY 6.5% COMPARED TO 2015

Milan, 30 January ²⁰¹⁷ – The Board of Directors of Openjobmetis S.p.A. (Borsa Italiana: OJM), one of the leading Employment Agencies, listed on the STAR segment of the Stock Market – operated by Borsa Italiana, analysed preliminary sales revenue as at 31 December 2016.

Preliminary sales revenue for the whole of 2016 amounted to €460.9 million, against €432.8 million last year.

The increase of 6.5% (€28.1 million) is mainly due to higher revenue from the core business, namely "contract work" (+6.7% compared to 2015) and "personnel recruitment and selection" (+4.4% compared to 2015). The revenue for the last quarter of 2016 made a significant contribution, as it increased by 16.9% over the fourth quarter of 2015, against an increase of 2.9% obtained in the first 9 months of 2016, if compared to 2015.

Managing Director Rosario Rasizza commented: "I am extremely satisfied with the increase in revenue achieved in 2016, although the results obtained in the last few months of the year are even more important, demonstrating the company's ability to keep up with the market and to handle growing volumes by exploiting its operating leverage. Furthermore – continued Rosario Rasizza – given the current macroeconomic and legislative framework of the labour market in Italy, I am confident that we will achieve our future economic and financial objectives".
