Announcement Update: Ooredoo Group Announces the Sale of its Telecom Business in Myanmar

Qatar, Singapore and Myanmar, 10 September 2022

Following the announcement made on 8 September regarding the sale of its Myanmar operations, Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. (QSE: ORDS) (“Ooredoo”) has stated today that the actual financial impact of disposal will be reflected in the financial statements in the quarter in which the transaction is closed.

The timing of closing will depend on regulatory approvals and the financial impact is expected to be non-material at Group level.
