Ooredoo Group Announces Appointment of New Maldives CEO
Doha, Qatar, 1 February, 2022: Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. (“Ooredoo”) – Ticker ORDS - announced the appointment of Khalid Hassan Al-Hamadi as CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, effective 1 February 2022.
Khalid Hassan Al-Hamadi joined Ooredoo Qatar in 2010, where he was most recently Senior Director Consumer Sales. Khalid contributed substantially to the revenue growth of the company and enhanced digital sales significantly. He is an EFQM certified assessor and has played a key role in conducting internal and external assessments for Ooredoo, as well as developing a number of systems such as KPI monitoring and handling corporate studies for the whole organization.
Khalid was a Board member of Ooredoo Maldives from 2017 to 2021.
The Ooredoo management thanks Najib Khan, who is due to join the Ooredoo Group, for his excellent achievements during in last five years of service as the CEO of Ooredoo Maldives.
