Ooredoo Group Announces New Appointments

Najib Khan as Group Chief Business Services Officer, Eyas Assaf as Deputy Group CFO

Doha, Qatar, 10 March, 2022: Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. (“Ooredoo”) – Ticker ORDS - announced the appointment of Najib Khan as Group Chief Business Services Officer and Eyas Assaf as Deputy Group CFO.

Najib rejoined the Group team after five years of service as MD and CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, where he realised great achievements for the company.

In his new role as Group Chief Business Services Officer, Najib will be heading the Ooredoo Business unit, reporting directly to the Deputy Group CEO.

Eyas has recently re-joined Ooredoo Group, after being Indosat Ooredoo’s CFO, where he delivered outstanding business performance and was a key part of the merger with CK Hutchison.

Ooredoo Group also announced the departure of Vivek Jhamb, who was Executive Director Business Services, successfully heading the Wholesale team.

Ooredoo's management congratulates the new appointees on their new roles and wishes Vivek the best of luck in his future endeavours.
