On the Beach Group plc (LSE: OTB.L), the UK's leading online retailer for beach holidays announces that it was notified on 21 December 2017 that on 21 December 2017, Karen Meehan, the spouse of Paul Meehan, the Group's Chief Financial Officer, purchased 22,222 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 450p per share.

As a result, Mr Meehan's total interest in the Company, including his spouse's holding, is 22,222 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.02 per cent of the total voting rights of the Company.

There were 130,434,763 shares in issue at the time of this notification.
