UPDATE ON THE PROPOSED SECONDARY LISTING ON BURSA MALAYSIA
Following the Company’s announcement on 31 March 2021 regarding conditional approval received from the Securities Commission Malaysia (the “ SC ”), the Board of OM Holdings Limited (ASX:OMH) (“ OMH ” or the “ Company ”) is pleased to advise that the Company has further received approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“ Bursa Malaysia ”) for the proposed secondary listing of OMH on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia (“ Proposed Secondary Listing ”).
Commenting on the approvals, Mr Low Ngee Tong, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OMH commented: “The approvals from SC and Bursa Malaysia for our Proposed Secondary Listing on Bursa Malaysia mark a key milestone in our journey and complements well with the expansion plans for our Sarawak smelter plant and the OMH Group as a whole. In the coming months, we will engage current and prospective shareholders on our Proposed Secondary Listing and work on building investor awareness.”
OMH is required to ensure full compliance of all the requirements applicable to the secondary listing as provided in the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia at all times in addition to fulfilling the conditions set out by the SC and Bursa Malaysia.
The Company is expecting to achieve a listing on Bursa Malaysia no later than 30 June 2021 subject to the compliance with the terms and fulfilment of the conditions from SC and Bursa Malaysia.
