Grethe Moen and Saowapap Sumeksri proposed as new members of the Board of Directors of OKEA ASA

The Nomination Committee proposes Grethe Moen and Saowapap Sumeksri as new

members of the Board of Directors of OKEA ASA. Grethe Moen has an MSc in

Chemical Engineering and was until late 2020 the CEO of Petoro AS.  She replaces

Liv Monica Stubholt, who has been a member of the Board for two years.

Saowapap Sumeksri is Senior Vice President of Finance Management in Bangchak

Corporation and has an MBA in Finance and a BA in Business Administration. She

replaces Prisana Praharnkhasuk, who has also been a member of the Board for two

years. The Nomination Committee proposes the reelection of Rune Olav Pedersen,

Nicola Gordon and Finn Haugan. The three other members elected by shareholders,

Chaiwat Kovavisarach (Chairman), Paul Murray and Mike Fisher are not up for

reelection and will remain as members of the Board of Directors.

Sverre Strandenes is nominated as new member of the Nomination Committee, which

will then consist of Suthep Wong (Chair), Reidar Stokke and Sverre Strandenes.

Sverre Strandenes is a Norwegian citizen and has an MSc in Geophysics. He worked

in Norsk Hydro Oil & Gas from 1981-95 and has held various executive positions

in PGS from 1995 - 2018. He is now an independent consultant.

The Board of Directors of OKEA ASA will be elected at the Annual General Meeting

on May 3[rd].

The full recommendations of the Nomination Committee will be published this

Friday April 9[th] together with the invitation to the Annual General Meeting.
