OHB Technology AG acquires Kayser-Threde GmbH, Munich

Bremen/Munich, June 21, 2007. Today, OHB Technology AG (ISIN:
DE0005936124), listed on the Prime Standard, has signed a contract sale for
the purchase of the entire interest in KT Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH &
Co. KG, which in turn holds a 100 percent of the shares in Kayser-Threde
GmbH, Munich. The purchase price amounts to EUR 5.95 million. The
performance of the sale contract is subject to various conditions whose
occurrence is expected for the next weeks.

Kayser-Threde GmbH ranks among the three largest space companies in Germany
and specializes in the development and implementation of payloads,
scientific devices, and equipment for aerospace, science, and the industry.
Kayser-Threde GmbH provides support over the complete life cycle of a
scientific device for manned and unmanned spaceflight missions, from
feasibility study and the development of hardware and software up to
mission support and data interpretation. The business segments Automotive
and Process Control Systems include the test data recording and data
management of crash tests as well as process control systems and
telecontrol engineering for railway power supply. With more than 200
employees, the company had total revenues of about EUR 38 million in the
year 2006.

With this step, OHB Technology AG is expanding its product portfolio by the
segments science and payloads and will thus be positioned on an even
broader base with altogether four business divisions in the future. The OHB
Group’s market position and customer access are significantly strengthened
by this transaction, improving the realization of further potential for
development.
