OHB Technology AG: Formal procedures of Kayser-Threde GmbH takeover carried
out

Bremen/Munich August 20, 2007. As of today, Munich aerospace company
Kayser-Threde GmbH is officially part of OHB Technology AG (ISIN:
DE0005936124, Prime Standard). The formal transfer of the entire interest
in KT Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, which holds a 100 percent
interest in Kayser-Threde GmbH, was finalized today with the entry in the
commercial register. The company will be included in the consolidated
financial statements of OHB Technology AG as of July 1, 2007.

The takeover and the integration of Kayser-Threde into the OHB Technology
Group result in a completion of the previous structuring of the group’s
business segments. Together with its investments, Kayser-Threde GmbH
represents the division Payloads + Science with immediate effect.

From now on, the new group structure is laid out as follows:

1. Space Systems + Security
   with the space technology core business of OHB-System and its investments
   as well as the foreign subsidiaries

2. Payloads + Science
   with Kayser-Threde and its subsidiaries and investments, concerned with the
   development and implementation of payloads, scientific devices, and
   equipment for aerospace, science, and the industry

3. Space Transportation + Aerospace Structures
   with MT Aerospace and its subsidiaries and investments

4. Telematics + Satellite Operations
   with the activities in telematics and the investments in the ORBCOMM
   satellite system
