OEM International acquires company in Great Britain

OEM Internationals subsidiary in Great Britain, OEM Automatic Ltd, has today signed an agreement to acquire British Datasensor Uk Ltd with possession from 1 st of December 2012. The company has an annual turnover of approximately 1,5 MGBP and markets sensors from Italian Datalogic in Great Britain. The acquisition will strengthen OEM Automatic's product range and create conditions for continuous growth.

• Through this acquisition we extend our product portfolio with sensors from market-leading Datalogic. The sensors fit well into our present range of electrical components and strengthen our market position in Great Britain, says Jörgen Zahlin, Managing Director and CEO for OEM International.

Datasensor Uk Ltd will be fully integrated with OEM Automatic in Great Britain during 2013. The purchase sum amounts to approximately 1 MGBP plus an additional purchase sum based on the business development 2013. The acquisition is expected to have a marginal impact on OEM's profit for the current year.
