OEM Automatic in Norway expands its product range with industrial pumps by taking over business from Lasa Maskin AS

OEM Automatic AS in Norway, part of OEM International, has settled an agreement with Lasa Maskin AS and will be taking over their business with start from 1/9 2009.

Lasa Maskin AS has a yearly turnover of about 10 MSEK. The takeover will expand the product range of OEM Automatic with the addition of pumps for marine and industrial applications. Pumps has since earlier been a prioritized segment for the OEM Group and the takeover will have significant synergy effects with efforts within the same segment in Sweden. The products are delivered by ITT/Jabsco, a world leader on high quality pumps for marine and industrial applications.

The takeover is not expected to have any effect on the result of the Group during the current year.
