Delisting of NZX Options on Equity Securities: Notice of Procedure Amendments
On 21 April 2026, NZX placed Exchange Traded Options listed on the NZX Equity Derivatives Market (NZCX) into halt, as one of the operational implementation steps relating to the relaunch of the S&P/NZX 20 Index Futures which commenced trading on 28 April 2026.
NZX has now completed the regulatory approval steps that are required to amend the New Zealand Clearing Limited: C&S Procedures, and the NZX Derivatives Market Procedures (together, Procedures) to de-list the Exchange Traded Options.
The amendments to the Procedures and the de-listing of the Exchange Traded Options will become effective on Monday, 29 June 2026.
