Nyrstar NV (the "Company") announces today that on 7 February 2018 it has received a transparency notification from Capfi Delen Asset Management NV and this pursuant to the Belgian Act of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of major participations in issuers of which shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market and regarding divers provisions.

Pursuant to the aforementioned notification, Capfi Delen Asset Management NV holds 3,326,550 voting rights of the Company, representing 3.05% of the outstanding voting rights in the Company.
