Nyrstar NV announced today that on 18 May 2015, it received a shareholder notification from BlackRock Inc, in accordance with the Belgian Act of 2 May 2007 on disclosure of major shareholdings in issuers shares of which are admitted to trading on a regulated market and laying down miscellaneous provisions.

Pursuant to the aforementioned notification, BlackRock Inc has acquired voting rights in Nyrstar NV. Its holding, as of 11 May 2015, is 10,772,165 ordinary shares, representing 3.17 % of the total number of existing shares of Nyrstar NV.
