NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS
Sub: Transfer of Ordinary Shares of the Company to Demat Account of IEPF Authority
Pursuant to Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 6(3)(a) of the Investor
Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016
(IEPF Rules), notice is hereby given to the Shareholders of the Company that all shares, in
respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed for seven consecutive years or more, shall
become due to be transferred / credited to the DEMAT account of the Investor Education and
Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority.
Individual communications in this regard have been sent through registered post on
20th June, 2024 to the registered address of the Shareholders concerned whose shares are
liable to be transferred to the IEPF Authority on 1st October, 2024. The Company has uploaded
details of such Shareholders on its website at: https://www.cheviotgroup.com under the TAB
"List of Shares to be Transferred to the IEPF Authority". Shareholders are requested to verify
the list and claim their dividend immediately to avoid transfer of their shares to the IEPF Authority.

and upon issue of such new share certificate(s), the original share certificate(s) which stand
registered in the name of such Shareholder will stand automatically cancelled and be deemed
non-negotiable. In case of shares held in demat mode, the transfer would be effected by
issuance of necessary instruction to the depository to transfer the shares directly to IEPF. The
shareholders concerned are further requested to note that all future benefits arising on such
shares would also be transferred to IEPF Authority.
Shareholders may further note that the details uploaded by the Company on its website should
be regarded and shall be deemed adequate notice by the Company for the purpose of transfer
of shares to IEPF Authority pursuant to the IEPF Rules. In case the Company does not receive
any communication from the Shareholders concerned within three months from the date of this
notice, the Company shall transfer the shares to IEPF Authority as per procedure stipulated in
the IEPF Rules.
No claim shall lie against the Company in respect of unpaid / unclaimed dividend amounts and
shares which have been transferred to IEPF Authority as per the Rules. Any person, whose
shares and / or unpaid / unclaimed dividend have been transferred to the IEPF Authority may
approach the Nodal Officer of the Company through email at [email protected] for
an Entitlement Letter to claim such shares / dividend transferred to the IEPF Authority before
