Retirement of Non-Executive Director – Hon. Jeffrey Bleich
Sydney, Australia - Nuix today announces that the Hon. Jeff Bleich has accepted a full-time position as General Counsel, Anthropic AI effective later this month. Consequently, Mr Bleich will complete his current term but not stand for re-election to the Nuix Board at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in November this year.
Mr Bleich joined Nuix as a Non-Executive director prior to its IPO, and served as Non-Executive Chair of the Company from December 2020 until February 2023 when he stepped into the Deputy Chair role. Mr Bleich said, "it is a real privilege and responsibility to serve on the Nuix Board of Directors. I have been an admirer of Nuix technology as a customer for many years. Being a member of the Board has only deepened my respect for the work of the Nuix team, including my colleagues on the Board. I am very excited about my new role, but saddened that the terms of my employment make it impossible for me to continue beyond my current term as a member of the Board. I look forward to continuing my service until the next AGM, and finding other ways to contribute to Nuix in the future."
Nuix Chair, Robert Mactier said, “We are sorry to lose Jeff as a colleague on the Board. Jeff's deep global and industry knowledge have brought incredible value to Nuix. We remain grateful for his service, his considered wisdom, thoughtful insights and his steady hand during challenging times. Jeff will leave with our very best wishes, safe in the knowledge that he is a lifelong friend of Nuix, and will continue to be an advocate of the Nuix technology and its global potential. We heartily congratulate Jeff on his appointment and wish him much success."
Nuix will commence the process of identifying a new Non-Executive Director to replace Mr Bleich on the Board.
