NTPC Green Energy Limited inks MoU with Assago Industries Private Limited for supply of Green Ammonia, CO2, RE Power and other related utilities for Green Urea Plant.

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Assago Industries Private Limited on 2[nd] Feb’2026 at NTPC Bhawan, New Delhi for supply of Green Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide, Renewable Energy Power and other related utilities for the latter for production of 1000 TPD of Green Urea. The Urea plant being explored to be setup in the NGEL Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka (near Visakhapatnam), AP.

The MoU was signed in the august presence senior officials from NGEL, NTPC and Assago.
