NSI opens "Het Nieuwe Kantoor Rotterdam"

HOOFDDORP, 19 October 2012

NSI has opened HNK-R (The New Office Rotterdam) yesterday. HNK-R is the first property in NSI's portfolio that has been transformed on the basis of its HNK ("The New Office") concept. The HNK concept anticipates the growing need for full service and flexible concepts in the office market. HNK-R provides flexibility in rental space and duration, ICT facilities, meeting rooms, meeting accommodations, flexible workplaces, catering and support services in the 18,000 sqm office building. NSI will continue to roll out the HNK concept in its Dutch office portfolio.

With HNK we tap into the rental requirements of the growing number of self-employed professionals and SME companies- the growth engine of the Dutch economy. Because the tenants pay only for what they actually use, we offer an attractive alternative at a top location. For NSI, this proposition is attractive because we, in cooperation with operator SKEPP, can increase our revenues per square meter compared with a traditional rent model. Through our integral leasing strategy, we have all the skills in-house to complete transformations like this, cost effectively, in only a few months time."

NSI aims to transform approximately 15% of its Dutch office portfolio into HNK offices, for which the focus is on the major cities. In addition, NSI will selectively launch a HNK 'light' concept in business park office locations.

HNK-R is located at Het Vasteland in Rotterdam, a stone's throw away from the vibrant Maritime Quarter (Scheepsvaartkwartier).

The ground floor of HNK-R is the meeting place. A social, dynamic and inspiring environment with a catering section and flexible workplaces. There are also meeting rooms on the mezzanine level. The catering and hospitality services are part of the social heart of HNK-R.

The 1st floor offers fully furnished office space in various sizes, available for flexible lease lengths from one day to one year. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor, HNK-R provides fully renovated office space, equipped with all necessary functional and technical requirements. Units can be rented in size from 30sqm and flexible lengths from 1 year onwards.
