Reduction of common stock
With reference to company announcement no. 12/2017, a reduction of the company's B common stock by DKK 10,000,000 via cancellation of 5,000,000 treasury B stocks, was adopted at Novozymes A/S' Annual Shareholders' Meeting on February 22, 2017.
Today, Novozymes has registered the final implementation of the reduction of its common stock with the Danish Business Authority. Consequently, the reduction of Novozymes' B common stock from DKK 512,512,800 to DKK 502,512,800 has been completed.
After the reduction, the common stock is DKK 610,000,000, distributed on 305 million stocks of DKK 2 per stock.

As communicated in company announcement no. 1, 2017, Novo A/S intends to reduce its relative holding of Novozymes B common stock so that it will continue to hold around 25.5% of the total common stock following Novozymes' cancellation of 5,000,000 treasury B shares.
On March 24, 2017, following the reduction of its common stock, Novozymes' holding of treasury shares were 7.8 million B shares, equivalent to 2.6% of the reduced total share capital.
