Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On October 3, 2017, NOVAGOLD Resources Inc. (“we” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing our financial results for the three and nine months ended August 31, 2017. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
