Freedom Foods Group Limited Completion of Acquisition of Land at Ingleburn, Sydney

Freedom Foods Group Limited (ASX:FNP) today announced it has completed the previously foreshadowed acquisition of land for its proposed new integrated Aseptic (UHT) production and logistics facility in south west Sydney.

The Company has acquired approximately 66,000 sq. metres of land at Ingleburn in South West Sydney. The acquisition price was $16.6 million (exclusive of stamp duty).

A new facility to be constructed on the land will provide for significant expansion in capacity and efficiency improvements as compared to current operations, including warehousing and logistics.

The Company has been granted local council approval for the proposed development, with construction of a 1[st] stage warehouse facility expected to commence in July 2015, with construction of the adjacent processing and filling facility commencing later in the 1[st] half of FY 2016.

The acquisition of land was funded through finance facilities and other assets, with long term financing secured at a funding rate of less than 5%.
