ANNOUNCEMENT

Share capital increase commercial registration

Lisbon, 16^th of September 2022 - Under the terms and for the purposes of paragraph a) of article 1 of CMVM's Regulation nr. 5/2008 and paragraph c) of article 2 of CMVM's regulation nr. 1/2022, NOS, SGPS, S.A. ("NOS") hereby informs that, following the approval at the Annual Shareholders Meeting, held on 21 April 2022, under the terms communicated at the time, NOS has registered the increase in share capital from $\epsilon$ 5,151,613.80 to $\epsilon$ 855,167,890.80. The operation represented an increase of € 850,016,277.00, by incorporation of reserves, through an increase in the par value of all shares representive of the company's share capital from $\epsilon$ 0.01, to $\epsilon$ 1.66, which has already been registered at the Commercial Registry Office.

Following the aforementioned registration, NOS' share capital amounts to $\epsilon$ 855,167,890.80, with a share par value of €1.66. This change will be effective as of 20 September 2022 and will be concluded by the Central Securities Depositary.
