Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (NAS): Traffic figures for July 2021
In July the capacity was 104% higher than last year with a load factor of 74.4%. On average, Norwegian operated 33 aircraft during July. Demand continue to increase driven by the unlocking of markets and easing of travel restrictions.
Compared to the same period last year:
- Total capacity (ASK) increased by 104%
- Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 124%
- The load factor was 74.4%, up by 7 p.p.
- The total number of passengers flown was 695 830, an increase of 95%
The unit revenue (RASK) is estimated at 0.43 for the period, down by 29%.
The average flying distance for the Group increased by 15% in July compared to the same period last year.
In July, the Group operated 99.8% of its scheduled flights, whereof 88.3% departed on time, 8.3 p.p. lower than last year.
CO2 emissions was 84 grams per RPK.
