Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (NAS) - Traffic figures for September 2021
In September the capacity was 154% higher than last year with a load factor of 72.4%. On average, Norwegian operated 46 aircraft during September. Demand continue to increase driven by the unlocking of markets and easing of travel restrictions.
Compared to the same period last year:
- Total capacity (ASK) increased by 154%
- Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 248%
- The load factor was 72.4%, up by 20 p.p.
- The total number of passengers was 977 719, an increase of 206%
The unit revenue (RASK) is estimated at 0.35 for the period, down by 15%. The average flying distance for the Group increased by 32% in September compared to the same period last year. In September, the Group operated 99.7% of its scheduled flights, whereof 92.1% departed on time, 5.5 p.p. lower than last year. CO2 emissions was 88 grams per RPK, 27% lower than last year
