Tribune Resources Ltd ( Tribune or the Company ) (ASX code: TBR) notes the announcement today by Northern Star Resources Limited (ASX code: NST) in relation to an offer for the 49% interest in the East Kundana Joint Venture ( EKJV ) that is does not own.
Tribune holds a 36.75% interest in the EKJV, whilst Rand Mining (ASX code: RND) holds a 12.25% interest.
The Board of Tribune is currently assessing the offer and consulting advisors with regards to delivering maximum value to shareholders.
Further announcements will be made once the Company has formed an opinion and response to the offer.
