Notification of Holdings

Northern Bear plc (LSE: NTBR), the AIM quoted group of companies providing specialist building and support services headquartered in Northern England and serving customers across the UK, has been made aware of the following changes in holdings of its ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"):

·    Mr D O'Hare, who previously held an interest in approximately 6.18 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, now holds 362,000 Ordinary shares representing less than 3 per cent. of the Company's currently issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

·    Mr K Soulsby, together with his wife and family, who together previously held an aggregate interest in approximately 4.06 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, now hold, in aggregate, 497,820 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 3.62 per cent of the Company's currently issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
