Northern Bear announces that it has received notification that Thomas Hayes, Finance Director of the Company, purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") at a price of 31.0 pence per share, on Wednesday 19 March 2014 (the "Transaction").

Following the Transaction Mr. Hayes is now interested in 50,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.27 per cent. of the share capital of the Company.
