Purchase of own shares

Norske Skog has bought 100,000 own shares at a price of NOK 8.4285 per share.

Norske Skog's own holding amounts to 331,493 shares after this purchase. The

shares will be used in connection with the employee share scheme, and they will

not be cancelled.

The purchase is done under the authorization to buy back up to 10 % of the

shares, given by the Annual General Meeting.
