Publication of 2009 annual report and notice of annual general meeting in Norske Skogindustrier ASA

Norske Skog will be holding its annual general meeting on 22 April 2010 at 1100

hrs. at Vika Kino in Oslo. Notice of the general meeting, including the

recommendation of the election committee, as well as the complete 2009 annual

report, are enclosed with this announcement.

The general meeting elects the shareholders' representatives to the corporate

assembly and election committee. For detailed information regarding the

recommendations from the election committee, please see the press release from

18 February.
