NORMA Group publishes Corporate Responsibility Roadmap for 2018

Maintal, Germany, 14 January 2016 – NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, has published its Corporate Responsibility Roadmap for 2018. The company will manage its strategic focus and measures in the area of Corporate Responsibility (CR) based on this cross-divisional roadmap. The CR Roadmap for 2018 was developed together with external experts and is backed by ambitious goals for the years to come. “Sustainability and responsible management are an integral part of our corporate strategy. Based on our CR Roadmap for 2018, NORMA Group will continue on the path it has chosen over the next few years and sharpen its profile as a responsible company,” said Werner Deggim, CEO of NORMA Group.

The creation of the CR Roadmap for 2018 was preceded by an intensive consultation process. Experts from NORMA Group discussed the Roadmap with experts from the worlds of business, science, politics and civil society in a roundtable discussion in July 2015 (see press release NORMA Group invites its stakeholders to develop corporate responsibility further ). Besides the main contents, also the structure in the five areas of action and the operationalization of the goals have been updated. The progress that is made will be evaluated on the basis of deadlines and key figures.

Furthermore, NORMA Group is positioning itself as a transparent company that takes the interests of its stakeholders seriously and actively engages in exchanges with them,” said the CR Coordinator, Daphne Recker.
