Nordic Semiconductor ASA's First Quarter 2016 Results
Nordic Semiconductor ASA Reported First Quarter 2016
revenues of MUSD 40.1 and EBIT of MUSD -0.3, compared
to revenues of MUSD 40.0 and EBIT of MUSD 4.4 in Q1
Bluetooth Smart sales at MUSD 18.2 (45.4% of Q1 2016
Revenues), compared to MUSD 17.9 (44.7% of Q1 2014
Revenues). Before tax profits were MUSD -1.0, compared
to MUSD 5.5 in Q1 2015.
Basic EPS from total operations was USD -0.006
compared to USD 0.020 in Q1 2015.
"Nordic's investments in future revenue growth
materializes as customer's demand generated almost
MUSD 1 in revenue from nRF 52 series in the first
quarter of shipments. In addition, the 2nd RF test
chip from our Finland Operations was sent to
production. "says Svenn-Tore Larsen, CEO of Nordic
Semiconductor ASA.
