New share capital registered

Reference is made to stock exchange notice of 5 February 2010 regarding

successful conclusion of a private placement in Nordic Mining ASA.

The private placement of 20,000,000 shares was done at a subscription price of

NOK 1.00. The par value of the share is NOK 0.10. The share capital was

increased by NOK 2,000,000.

The capital increase has today been registered with the Register of Business

Enterprises, and Nordic Mining's share capital is currently NOK 11,547,009.10.

The share capital increase was carried out in two tranches to ensure the swift

listing of the shares comprised by the first tranch. In the first tranch there

were issued 9,547,009 shares which are immediately tradeable. In the second

tranch there were issued 10,452,991 shares. These shares will be listed upon the

approval by the Oslo Stock Exchange of a listing prospectus.
