Completed logging and sampling of drill cores from Engebø

Completed logging and sampling of drill cores from Engebø

Geologists have finished logging and sampling of drill cores retrieved from the

drilling program at the Engebø rutile deposit. Approximately 2,000 samples have

been sent for chemical analysis at an accredited laboratory.

The drill cores have been investigated by geologists and studied in terms of

geological and geotechnical parameters. All ore samples will be chemically

tested at an accredited laboratory to determine rutile grade. Mineralogical and

petrological testing will also be carried out to assess garnet quantity and

other rock properties. The company has received the first analytical results and

the last results are expected in July.

For the next two months work will focus on geological and structural surface

mapping and sampling at the Engebø deposit, as well as mineralogical studies of

ore samples. Four geology students have been engaged to carry out this work

under supervision of company geologists.

Systematisation and analysis of the data from the drilling program and the

surface mapping are done continuously. The information will form the basis for

an updated resource model for the deposit. The updated resource model and

resource estimations will be finalised in Q3 2016. Qualified Person, Mr. Adam

Wheeler is engaged to do the resource estimations and classifications for the

deposit in accordance with the JORC Code as part of the upcoming pre-feasibility

study for the project.

Exploration Manager Mona Schanche comments: "We are making good progress on

completing the drilling program, and are expecting to finish within planned

timeframe".

Nordic Mining's subsidiary, Nordic Rutile AS has the rights to the Engebø rutile

deposit and has been granted permits for the project.
