Nordic Halibut AS – Appointment of Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Averøy, Norway, 20 September 2021

Nordic Halibut AS (NOHAL) has appointed Kenneth Meyer as new CFO of the Company effective from October 1st, 2021. Meyer succeeds Odd Weidel who has been interim CFO since January 2021.

Mr. Meyer holds a MSc in economics and administration, with specialization in financial analysis from Molde University College. He has extensive experience from food production and as seafood analyst for Kontali Analyse. He covered a wide range of segments within the seafood industry during his time at Kontali and was responsible for the white fish segment before joining Nordic Halibut. He comes from the position as Group Business Controller in NOHAL.

The CFO function will be strengthened with a new Group Business Controller, also starting October 1st, 2021.

-I am pleased that Kenneth has accepted to take on the role as CFO in Nordic Halibut. We have now consolidated all functions of the executive management team in our core production HUB in Møre & Romsdal, says CEO Edvard Henden.

The Board would like to thank Odd Weidel for his great contribution to the company. Odd has been an instrumental part of setting the structure and ensuring the successful listing on Euronext Growth. Odd will continue to support NOHAL as an independent advisor.
