Directorate Changes

Norcros plc, a market leading supplier of high quality and innovative bathroom and kitchen products announces the appointment with effect from 1 May 2020 of Mark Allen OBE to the Board as Non-Executive Director and Board Chair designate.

Norcros also announces that, in line with best practice, after nearly nine years on the board Martin Towers will be stepping down as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chair.  Martin will continue in office until the 2020 AGM of Norcros plc in July and will not seek re-election then, when Mark will seek election as a director and, subject to that, take over as Board Chair.   

Mark Allen spent the majority of his executive career at Dairy Crest plc, where he was CEO from 2006 until 2019.  He is currently a non-executive director of Warburtons Limited, and from 2011 to 2019 was a non-executive director of Howden Joinery Group plc.  Previously he was also the Chair of Dairy UK Ltd, the trade body of the dairy industry.

There are no disclosures concerning Mark Allen to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 other than his other directorships referred to in this announcement.
