Januar 2001 — Die NorCom Information Technology AG setzt ihr dynamisches Wachstum auf Jahressicht fort und liegt mit einem Umsatzwachstum von rund 130% gegenüber 1999 im Rahmen der Erwartung. Laut vorläufigem, ungeprüftem Ergebnis erzielte der Anbieter von E-Security und E-Business Solutions für das Jahr 2000 einen Umsatz von über EUR 33 Mio. Zusätzliche Investitionen in die Entwicklung einer bahnbrechenden, neuen Security-Technologie für das Internet und längere Verkaufszyklen führten dazu, dass das Jahresergebnis etwas unter den Erwartungen lag, die ein leicht positives Ergebnis vorsahen. Das Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) liegt bei rund EUR -2 Mio., das Jahresergebnis bei etwa EUR -0,9 Mio. NorCom entwickelt bahnbrechende Security-Technologie für kommenden Industriestandard Mit dem Erfolg des kommenden Industriestandards J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) und Web Application Servern zeichnet sich im Markt eine markante Trendwende ab, die nachhaltig auf die gesamte IT- Architektur der Unternehmen Einfluss nehmen wird. Up roughly 130% on 1999, revenues in fiscal 2000 met expectations. According to its preliminary unaudited figures, the e-security and e- business solutions specialist generated revenues of more than EUR 33 mn in 2000. Additional spending on developing revolutionary new security technology for the Internet and longer sales cycles kept net loss for the year slightly above expectations. A small profit had been expected. Loss before interest and tax (LBIT) came to roughly EUR 2 mn. Net loss for the year stands at nearly EUR 0.9 mn.
