Februar 2001 — Die NorCom Information Technology AG hat zum Jahresbeginn ihren Konzern neu aufgestellt. Die schlagkräftige profitcenter-orientierte Organisationsstruktur bildet ein solides Fundament für das geplante starke Konzernwachstum der nächsten Jahre. Für das laufende Jahr erwartet das Unternehmen mit ihren Kerngeschäftsbereichen E-Security und E-Business Infrastructures einen Umsatz in Höhe von EUR 56-60 Mio. und damit ein profitables Wachstum von rund 70-80%. Noch im Frühjahr dieses Jahres wird NorCom zukunftsweisende Security- Technologien für das E-Business ausliefern. Damit reagiert das Unternehmen frühzeitig auf die Trendwende im IT-Markt von Client-Server- zu Netcentric-Computing. Trotz hoher Investitionen in F&E, Produkteinführung und Marketing plant das Unternehmen in diesem Jahr einen positiven EBIT in Höhe von EUR 4-6 Mio. Die Erweiterung der NGS Produktfamilie und die neue straffere Konzernstruktur legen die Basis für eine steigende Profitabilität in den Folgejahren. Im Zuge der Neuorganisation wechselt Gebhard Tanner, bisher zuständiger Vorstand Professional Services, rückwirkend zum 1. Februar 2001 in beratende Funktion bei NorCom. —————————————————————– NorCom – leaner internal structures and a new product forming the basis for profitable growth Munich, February 19, 2001 — NorCom Information Technology AG reorganized its group structure at the beginning of the year. The Group’s new efficient profit-center-oriented structure will form a solid basis for its planned strong growth over the next few years. With its core E-Security and E-Business Infrastructures divisions, NorCom projects revenues of EUR 56-60 million and hence profitable growth of approx. 70-80%. This spring NorCom will be releasing its innovative security technology for e-business. In doing so, it is responding early on to the move in the IT market away from client/server platforms towards net-centric computing. In spite of heavy spending on R+D, product roll-outs and marketing, the Company expects to post EBIT of EUR 4-6 million this year. The extensions to the family of NGS products and the new leaner group structure will create the foundations for rising profitability in the years ahead. As part of the corporate reshuffle, Gebhard Tanner, previously Vice President Professional Services, is now working for NorCom in an advisory capacity retroactively as of February 1, 2001.
